Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a CT Technologist to produce cross-section images, operate CT scanners, prepare contrast, and ensure imaging quality for radiologist interpretation. The role involves positioning patients per protocol, adhering to ALARA standards, and using EPIC/Radiant/PACS for image handling.

Required ARRT registration, state diagnostic technology licensure, and an accredited radiology program; CT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Required: Accredited educational program related to the radiology field and registered with the ARRT.
• Associate's degree in Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Licensed by the State in Diagnostic Technology.
• Preferred: CT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.
• Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.
• Utilizes EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
