Job summary

Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, NC is seeking a Cat Scan Technician (CT) to perform high-quality CT imaging during night shifts. You will review orders, prepare and administer contrast within scope, position patients, and ensure safe operation and timely diagnostic support in an acute care setting.

The role requires ARRT in Radiology and CT, a current Radiation Operator Certificate, BLS, and an ability to respond to on-call assignments within 30 minutes.

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate / Associate / Bachelor's degree.
• Current Radiation Operator Certificate in state of practice.
• Registered with ARRT in Radiology and CT.
• BLS certification.
• On-Call: report to facility within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging following standards of practice.
• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patients.
• Prepare and administer contrast media within scope; monitor patient condition.
• Operate CT equipment safely; perform QC checks and report issues.
• Position patients and analyze scan quality; take corrective action as needed.
• Maintain documentation and participate in performance improvement.
