Job summary

Maria Parham Health in North Carolina seeks a Cat Scan Technician (CT) to perform high-quality CT imaging in a nonexempt, fulltime role on the night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am), Friday through Sunday.

You will review histories, prep and administer contrast within scope, educate patients, position them, ensure safety, monitor exam quality, and maintain documentation, with on-call responsibilities and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate, Associate's degree, or Baccalaureate degree.
• Current Radiation Operator Certificate in state of practice.
• Registered with ARRT in Radiology and Computed Tomography (CT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• On-Call Requirement: able to respond within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging per established standards.
• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patients and administer contrast within scope.
• Position patients, perform imaging procedures, analyze scan quality, and report issues.
• Maintain documentation and scan reporting; ensure safety protocols and quality control.
