Job summary
A regional healthcare provider in Roxboro, NC is seeking a full-time Cat Scan Technician to ensure high-quality computed tomography images, monitor patient conditions, and provide excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will have an appropriate degree, necessary certifications, and the flexibility to cover on-call shifts. Qualifications
Two-year certificate, Associate’s degree, or Baccalaureate degree in a relevant field.
Current Radiation Operator Certificate in state of practice is required.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiology and Computed Tomography.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Ability to accept on-call assignments and report within 30 minutes.
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality computed tomography imaging according to standards.
Review patient history and physician orders for preparation.
Monitor patient condition during imaging procedures.
Analyze scan quality and execute corrective actions as necessary.
Document findings and report equipment issues.
