You will review images, maintain records, collaborate with radiologists, and adhere to radiation safety standards. ARRT certification and state licensure are required, with BLS.

Experience with PACS/RIS is preferred; additional imaging modalities like MRI certifications are a plus.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with a focus on CT imaging.
• ARRT-certified or equivalent licensure required.
• Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Knowledge of CT imaging techniques, radiation safety, and patient care standards.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Operate CT scanners and other radiology imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images according to established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Review images for quality and clarity, making adjustments as necessary to obtain optimal diagnostic results.
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging logs in compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to discuss imaging results and assist in further diagnostic processes.
• Ensure all imaging equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning according to safety standards.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self.
• Provide clear communication to patients regarding procedures, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
