Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with a focus on CT imaging.
• ARRT RT certification or equivalent and current Alabama licensure.
• Knowledge of CT imaging techniques, radiation safety, and patient care standards.
• BLS certification and ability to maintain accurate imaging records.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and radiology equipment to capture diagnostic images per protocols.
• Position and prepare patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Review images for quality and adjust as needed for optimal results.
• Maintain patient records and imaging logs in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to discuss results.
• Ensure imaging equipment is maintained, calibrated, and safe.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure.
• Communicate procedures clearly to patients and address questions.
