Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program with a focus on CT.
• State licensure to practice as a radiologic technologist where applicable.
• Knowledge of CT imaging protocols, radiation safety, and patient care standards.
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members.
• BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanning equipment to perform diagnostic imaging per protocols.
• Prepare and position patients to ensure optimal image quality and comfort.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to adverse reactions.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures and imaging results.
• Collaborate with radiologists to review images for diagnostic accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on CT equipment.
• Educate patients about the procedure to alleviate anxiety.
