Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in the Northeast Ohio region, performing CT imaging, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling.

Ideal candidates are ARRT registered, hold an Ohio Radiographer License, and possess BLS certification with a commitment to patient safety. The position includes night shifts, a 60-hour biweekly schedule, and a sign-on bonus for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
