Job summary

Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall is seeking a Radiology Technologist II - CT Scan for ongoing CT and special procedures work at our Newburgh imaging department.

Role includes rotating through CT, general radiography, and special procedures, with on-call duties. Requires NYS license, ARRT registration, and contrast media certification, plus BLS and AMA-approved radiologic technology education.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of AMA-approved school for Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• 1-3 years of radiologic technologist experience; CT on-the-job training completed.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong knowledge of radiologic services and technology.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Licensed by New York State and registered by the ARRT.
• NYS certification to administer contrast media.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and Special Procedures with high-quality patient care and radiation protection.
• Rotate through CT, general radiography and special procedures areas; be on call as needed.
• Administer intravascular contrast media injections as defined by regulations.
