Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall in Newburgh, NY, is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform CT and Special Procedures with strong focus on patient safety and imaging quality.

The role includes rotating through imaging areas and being on-call as required; injections of intravascular contrast media are part of the duties in accordance with Section 89.40. The ideal candidate will have an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program, 1-3 years of experience, NYS licensure, ARRT registration, and

Qualifications

• AS Satisfactory completion AMA approved school for Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• 1-3 years experience as Radiologic Technologist; CT on-the-job training.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; knowledge of radiology services and technology.
• BLS - American Heart Association; New York State license; ARRT registration.
• Certification to administer contrast media from New York State.

Responsabilités

• Perform all required exams in CT and Special Procedures with high quality patient care and radiation protection.
• Rotate through Imaging & Transportation areas and be on call as needed.
• Perform intravascular contrast media injections as defined by regulatory guidelines.
