Job summary

K.A. Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a CT Tech/Radiology Tech to perform CT and radiology procedures, assess patient needs, and maintain accurate records. The role includes clinical instruction to students and mentoring newer technicians, while following radiation safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (R) current; CT experience preferred but not required.
• Current NM State license.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conducts CT and Radiology procedures and diagnostic evaluations, applying exposure parameters according to patient needs.
• Assesses patient needs relevant to procedures.
• Stocks rooms with supplies and maintains an organized working area.
• Maintains records for patient safety and diagnostic quality, performing QA/QC checks as needed.
• Utilizes radiation protection measures and follows hospital policies for pain management and restraint use.
• Demonstrates proficiency with PACS and MediTech systems.
• Provides clinical instruction to students and mentors new techs.
• Performs other assigned duties.
