Job summary

K.A. Recruiting, Inc. seeks a full-time CT Technologist for a South Florida position.

The role offers full benefits and a sign-on bonus, with responsibilities including performing CT scans, preparing patients, operating scanners, and ensuring diagnostic-quality images. The ideal candidate has ARRT-certified education and CT certification, plus 1–2 years’ experience. You will work with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure safe procedures, proper documentation, and strict adherence to HIPAA

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program accredited by the ARRT or equivalent.
• ARRT RT certification required; CT certification (ARRT-CT) within specified time after hire.
• 1–2 years of CT Technologist experience preferred.
• Experience with advanced CT techniques (3D imaging, angiography, cardiac CT) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and diagnostic imaging procedures per physician orders.
• Prepare patients for CT procedures, explain process, position, and ensure comfort and safety.
• Operate CT scanners, monitor patients, adjust settings for high-quality images.
• Ensure images meet diagnostic quality and follow department protocols.
• Review patient history for contraindications to contrast.
• Administer contrast agents per safety guidelines.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and images.
• Maintain CT equipment and imaging rooms clean and functional.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians for timely results.
• Participate in quality control, QA, and departmental meetings.
• Stay updated on CT imaging technologies and techniques.
