Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year CT experience.
• Experience with patient positioning and image quality is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality CT images through proper positioning and factors.
• Operates CT scanner, power injector and post-processing equipment.
• Adjusts protocols to meet patient needs and maintain diagnostic quality.
• Critiques procedures to maintain high-quality imaging.
• Maintains a repeat rate at or below national standard.
• Explains procedures to patients and prepares them for imaging.
• Assists radiologists during invasive procedures when needed.
• Records and retrieves imaging data for archiving.
• Communicates delays and prepares patients for imaging.
