Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking a Multimodality Tech CT PRN to perform ultrasound-based procedures and manage equipment to produce high-quality images for patient care. The role emphasizes accurate imaging, patient rapport, and collaboration with the Ultrasound Department and PACS.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of employment start date
• ARRT certifications required (CT, R, M or MR/CNMT)
• 1 year of experience required
• Licensed or eligible in relevant radiology modalities

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures and regulate equipment to produce images.
• Detect pathology and maintain rapport with staff and patients.
• Assist in daily operation of Ultrasound Department and coordinate with PACS

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures using Ultrasound for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to produce the ultrasound and sends images to PACS. Assists in the daily operation of the Ultrasound Department. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography

• (ARRT-R) Radiography

• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer

• Vocational School Graduate

• (ARRT-M) Mammography, or (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

• 1 year(s) experience Required
