HCA Florida Palms West Hospital in Palm Beach County is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist PRN to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and operate ultrasound equipment under supervision. You will prepare patients, optimize image quality, and assist radiologists with exams.

The role requires BCLS within 30 days, vocational training, and relevant RDMS/ARRT certifications. This PRN position provides exposure to a broad set of ultrasound modalities within a leading healthcare system.

Responsibilities

Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures, for the purpose of detecting pathology, evaluating function, or as a means of assisting in the provision of treatment. Operates all the equipment utilized within the department, and develops and organizes films for presentation to the radiologist. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow co-workers, other departments, and Medical Staff. Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Vocational School Graduate
• (RDMS-AB) RDMS Abdomen Specialty, or (RDMS-OB/GYN) RDMS Obstetrics & Gynecology
• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or (ARRT-VS) Vascular Sonography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
