Job summary

Riverside Medical Clinic in Temescal Valley, CA is looking for a CT/MRI Technologist to perform MRI and CT exams, ensuring patient safety and accurate imaging across age groups.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience preferred in a hospital or clinic setting.
• High School Diploma and completion of an accredited CT/MRI education program.
• ARRT MR/CT certification and CPR; BLS certification required.
• Hours: 10:00 am - 6:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and prior studies to ensure exam appropriateness.
• Perform CT/MRI procedures, including setup, scanning, and processing.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during exams.
• Ensure equipment safety and report issues to Radiology leadership.
• Position and transfer patients, assist with patient preparation.
• Explain procedures to patients and adapt to radiologist requests.
• Operate radiographic equipment and select correct factors.
• Complete documentation and maintain logs.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in the area.
• Follow universal precautions per infection control.
• Develop x-ray films using automatic processing.
• Assist in teaching and training of staff as required.
