Job summary

Boys Town National Research Hospital in Omaha is seeking a CT & MRI Technologist to perform CT and MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and image quality. You will verify protocols, position patients, administer contrast when needed, and send images to PACS for radiologist review.

Experience in CT/MRI, ARRT certification, and CPR are required. Full-time schedule with rotating call, holidays, and x-ray/OR coverage is included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved, accredited School of Radiologic Technology or education in Radiologic Technology from an approved program in the U.S. Military.
• ARRT in Radiography and MRI within 90 days of transfer or hire.
• Minimum of two years' experience.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and MRI scanners according to safety procedures.
• Verify scans with correct patient, site, positioning, and protocols.
• Position patients and use immobilization devices for CT/MRI.
• Administer and educate about contrast media; manage reactions.
• Send images to PACS and use PACS software.
• Assess image quality and label images correctly.
• Route history and images to radiologist; ensure proper charging.
