Job summary

Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Field Service Engineer to provide on-site and phone support for imaging systems. You will address installation, application and technical issues, provide second-level escalation to National Technical Support, and participate in modality calls to keep region FSEs informed.

You’ll review service documentation, install new products, support FMI testing, and assist VA site inspections. Travel and a valid driver's license are expected.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or BSEE (or equivalent) is required.
• 5+ years servicing Ultrasound, CT, MR, Nuclear, or X-ray/Vascular modalities.
• Active motor vehicle license from the resident state.
• Prior field Technical Support experience and ability to work across modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and phone support to FSE and TSS for installation, application and technical issues.
• Provide second-level support and escalate to National Technical Support per protocol.
• Participate in Technical Operations modality calls and keep region FSEs informed of updates.
• Review Field Service Memos and SIS content to ensure comprehension by region FSEs.
• Install new products within the region and support FMI testing.
• Coordinate with NTS to ready VA sites for inspection and support on-site.
