Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT examinations, adapt procedures for diagnostic outcomes under radiologist direction, and ensure patient safety and comfort across all ages.

The role involves operating imaging equipment, maintaining equipment, documenting study data, and supporting department efficiency. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Certified in Computed Tomography (CT) within 1 year (ARRT)
• Registered in Radiography (R) - ARRT; BLS within 30 days (AHA)
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (IEMA) or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Performs CT examinations accurately and efficiently for patients of all ages
• Operates CT equipment and related workstations following radiology standards
• Obtains pre/post procedure information and documents in HIS STAR Radiology system
• Maintains safety, equipment function, and quality of care during procedures
• Supports patient flow and timely reporting to physicians per protocol
• Assists radiologist with invasive procedures as needed
• Trains technologists and students on department procedures
