UHC United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV seeks a CT technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures, ensure radiation safety, and support Radiologists with high-quality imaging. The role includes patient preparation, exam documentation, and adherence to infection control policies in a dynamic radiology department.

The successful candidate will have completed a medical imaging program, ARRT or NMTCB certification within 6 months of hire, and hold the required state radiography license or WV

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program and ARRT/NMTCB certification within 6 months of hire.
• Current or temporary radiography license as required by the state.
• WV licensure options include WV Radiography or Nuclear Medicine/CT license per WVMBRT.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Prepare room and equipment for patient exams with sterile technique.
• Perform CT examinations per physician orders and relay patient data to Radiologist.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and radiology patient protection standards.
• Document patient status and variations from protocol in the chart.
• Operate PACS to ensure exams are available for reading by radiologists.
• Assist with IV insertions, contrast administration, and patient transport as needed.
• Ensure proper film labeling and quality control of images.
