Job summary

Independence Health System Inc. in Alabama seeks a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography exams under the radiologist's supervision and produce diagnostic-quality images. You will verify patient identity, screen protocols, and ensure safety and patient comfort throughout the procedure.

Required ARRT registry eligibility or credential, JRCERT-accredited training, and strong communication skills. A $30,000 sign-on bonus is available; travel between system locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a (JRCERT) accredited Radiologic Technology program recognized by ARRT.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations as directed by radiologist.
• Verify patient identity and proper screening before scanning.
• Provide patient information and obtain informed consent when applicable.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure image quality with appropriate parameters.
• Document care and maintain PACS/RIS records as required.
