Job summary

Atlantic Health System's Newton Medical Center in New Jersey is seeking a CT Technologist to perform cross-sectional imaging, position patients, administer contrast, and operate CT equipment in accordance with ALARA standards.

You will interpret scanning instructions, utilize EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images, and ensure technical quality while adhering to state licensing and ARRT certification.

Qualifications

• ARRT-registered radiology program completion.
• Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Radiology (AS degree).
• State licensure in Diagnostic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Interprets CT protocols and positions patient accordingly.
• Operates CT scanner following ALARA radiation standards.
• Evaluates CT image quality for diagnostic utility.
• Uses EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images.
• Prepares and administers contrast material via power injector.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
