Job summary

Atlantic Health System in Newton, NJ is seeking a CT Technologist to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues, follow CT protocols, and assist radiologists with image delivery. The role requires ARRT certification, an AS in Diagnostic Radiology, and state licensure.

Qualifications

• Accredited educational program related to the radiology field and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Associate's degree in Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Licensed by the State in Diagnostic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.
• Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.
• Utilizes EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
