Job summary

Atlantic Health's Hackettstown Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with CT certification to oversee imaging procedures and patient safety on site in Hackettstown, NJ.

You will operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images, educate and prepare patients for exams, and ensure alignment with state and ARRT standards. You will determine technical parameters, monitor patient comfort, and assist with ED and outpatient workflows to deliver timely, quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CT registered through ARRT.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or associate's degree in radiologic technology.
• CPR and BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to create cross-sectional images.
• Educate and prepare patients for examinations.
• Perform treatments that follow State, Federal and professional standards.
• Oversee ED and outpatient operations on shift and participate in scheduling.
• Provide patient care essential to procedures.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Ensure safety and comfort of patients.
• Take patient medical history before an exam.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
