Job summary

Atlantic Health System seeks a CT Technologist to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. You will interpret scanning instructions, prepare and operate CT equipment, and position patients to capture the required images.

You will use EPIC, Radiant and PACS to route images to Radiologists, adhere to ALARA, and administer contrast as needed. ARRT certification and an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology are required; CT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Accredited educational program related to the radiology field and ARRT registration.
• Associate's degree in Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Licensed by the State in Diagnostic Technology.
• CT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.
• Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.
• Utilizes EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
