Job summary

Atlantic Health System seeks a CT Technologist in Pequannock Township, New Jersey. This position is responsible for producing cross-section images of internal organs and tissues for diagnosis, interpreting physician’s instructions, and utilizing scanning equipment.

Qualified candidates must have an associate's degree in Diagnostic Radiology, be registered with ARRT, and possess a state license. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, and a 403(b) retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Accredited educational program related to the radiology field.
• CT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.
• Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards.
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.
• Utilizes EPIC, Radiant, PACS to schedule and transmit images.
• Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
