Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a CT Technologist to perform cross-section imaging, interpret scanning instructions, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic quality images. You will prepare and administer contrast using a power injector and ensure documentation and image transfer to Radiologists via EPIC, Radiant, and PACS.

The role emphasizes adherence to ALARA radiation standards, patient safety, and accurate evaluation of image quality.

Qualifications

• Accredited educational program related to the radiology field and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Associate's degree in Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Licensed by the State in Diagnostic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.
• Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.
• Utilizes EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.
