Job summary

AtlantiCare seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging per established procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care. The role requires operating CT equipment safely, managing patients during procedures, and maintaining supplies while coordinating with staff.

The position supports student education and participates in performance improvement initiatives to uphold teamwork and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
• Certified and registered with ARRT in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
• CT certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire or transfer date for those hired before 4/25.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Graduate of an accredited radiological technologist school.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging according to departmental procedures to ensure quality patient care.
• Operate diagnostic CT equipment safely and efficiently to obtain optimal results.
• Manage the patient during the diagnostic procedure to meet care standards.
• Maintain supplies and report equipment problems to appropriate staff.
• Support student clinical education activities where applicable.
