Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in CT by ARRT.
• BLS through AHA or Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer; CPR card valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history, physician's orders and schedules exams; educates patient about procedures and equipment.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope; monitors patient condition and reports changes.
• Prepares equipment and supplies; selects exposure factors; ensures safety standards and quality control; positions patient and performs imaging.
• Analyzes results, resolves image quality issues, and enters/transmits reports; may perform 3-D post processing.
• Works with critical thinking, minimal supervision, fast-paced environment and appropriate action.
