Job summary

The role requires ARRT CT certification or registry eligibility within 12 months, BLS/CPR valid through start date, and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT CT registry within 12 months of hire.
• BLS/CPR per AHA or ARC requirements before start date.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician orders; educates patient on procedures and expectations.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as allowed; monitors patient condition and reports changes.
• Prepares equipment, selects exposure factors, ensures safety and QC; positions patient and performs imaging.
• Analyzes results, addresses image quality issues, may perform 3-D post processing, transmits reports.
