Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in University Heights, OH, seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging and assist radiologists in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure, and BLS; CT credential within one year is preferred.

Strong patient communication and ability to work with a multidisciplinary team are essential. Responsibilities include operating CT scanners, preparing patients, coordinating with nurses and physicians, and contributing to safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging and procedures as assigned.
• Assist radiologists and nursing staff during procedures.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and examinations.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in CT operations.
