Job summary

OU Health is seeking a CT Technologist I for part-time night shifts (2x12) in the Adult CT Scan department. The role performs routine CT examinations under established protocols with supervision as needed, focusing on patient‑centered care and safety.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, administering contrast per protocol, transferring images to EMR/PACS, and participating in ongoing education to maintain competencies. ARRT certification within 12 months and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging, radiology or nuclear medicine program.
• ARRT(RT) certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine CT examinations under established protocols with guidance as needed.
• Prepares patients, reviews clinical history, and supports imaging accuracy.
• Safely administers contrast per protocol and monitors patient safety.
• Transfers images to EMR/PACS and documents studies for physician reporting.
• Maintains equipment and performs basic quality control checks per regulations.
• Participates in continuing education to maintain competencies.
