Job summary

Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health seeks an Adult CT Technologist for night shifts (3x12) in the Adult CT Scan department. The CT Technologist I performs routine CT examinations in line with protocols and safety standards, with guidance as needed.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, assisting with contrast administration, transferring images to EMR/PACS, and participating in quality control and ongoing education to maintain competencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging, radiology or nuclear medicine program as defined by ARRT or completion of a military program accepted in lieu of other education requirements.
• Experience: 0-3 years for Level 1; 3-5 years CT experience for Level 2; 5+ years CT experience for Level 3.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon hire.
• ARRT(RT) certification required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine CT examinations per established protocols.
• Prepares patients and correlates clinical history with physician-ordered exams.
• Administers contrast safely per protocol.
• Transfers images to EMR/PACS and documents appropriately.
• Performs basic quality control checks and routine equipment maintenance.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
• Participates in continuing education and research to maintain competencies.
• Supports inventory tasks as needed.
