Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma City seeks a CT Technologist I for PRN day shifts in the Adult CT Scan department. The role performs routine CT exams, prepares patients, administers contrast, and ensures high-quality imaging under supervision. ARRT(RT) eligibility and BLS are required, with further certification within 12 months of hire.

Commitment to patient safety and accuracy is essential. Responsibilities include imaging transfer to EMR/PACS, documentation, and participation in ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging, radiology or nuclear medicine program as defined by ARRT.
• ARRT(RT) certification required within 12 months of hire; BLS required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT examinations per established protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare patients and correlate clinical history with physician orders for imaging.
• Safely administer contrast per protocol.
• Transfer images to EMR/PACS and document studies.
• Participate in quality control and basic equipment maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team.
