Job summary

Ottumwa Regional Health Center is seeking a CT Scan Technician to join our radiology team for full-time night shifts. You will prepare and administer contrast media, monitor patients, and perform imaging procedures with attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities include selecting exposure factors, maintaining equipment, analyzing image quality, and reporting scan results. ARRT/JRCERT/ ARMRIT or NMTCB registry and BLS-HCP are required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB accredited program.
• BLS Health Care Provider certification required; ARRT or NMTCB registry required.
• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes.
• Prepare equipment; select imaging factors.
• Ensure safety standards and perform QC on equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures.
• Analyze results and address image quality issues.
• Enter and report scan results.

Education

ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT/NMTCB accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine; Associate's degree preferred
