Job summary

Advocate Health in Cabarrus is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging, verify orders with radiology staff, and prepare patients with clear explanations of procedures. The role requires ARRT or NMTCB radiology certification and BLS, with emphasis on safety and accurate documentation.

The position involves rotating shifts, on-site work in the CT department, and providing support during invasive procedures alongside Radiologists and Physician Assistants.

• Competency in patient care and age-appropriate assessment.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders with Radiologist before exam.
• Identifies patients using two identifiers and explains procedures.
• Reviews medical history and correlates test results with the exam.
• Performs CT scans and assists Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Maintains radiation safety and documents contrast administration.
• Operates radiology computer system and manages orders/charges.

Education

ARRT or NMTCB certification recognition (Radiology/NMTCB)
