Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computerized axial tomography procedures with contrast, following department protocols and safety guidelines. You will review patient history, prepare contrast, and coordinate with radiologists for accurate interpretations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology.
• Completion of Radiologic Technology program or certificate.
• Active BLS certification within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures with contrast per department protocols and guidelines.
• Administers IV and oral/rectal contrast as appropriate and monitors reactions.
• Reviews cases with radiologist and ensures proper patient history and orders.
• Transmits and archives imaging data in PACS and prepares exams for interpretation.
• Maintains equipment and workplace safety, assists in training staff as needed.
• Cross-trains to other modalities as licensure allows and supports department productivity.
