Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT Technologist in Charlotte, NC to perform computerized axial tomography procedures and manage contrast administration in alignment with department protocols.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree or Radiologic Technology credential, ARRT licensure, and BLS. Expect collaboration with radiologists, maintaining safety standards and contributing to department productivity and cross-training as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration within 1 year.
• BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures and administer IV/oral/rectal contrasts per policy.
• Review patient history and orders to ensure correct exam.
• Screen for pregnancy and manage potential adverse reactions.
• Ensure patient, staff and environment safety; report safety events.
• Assist in instruction of students and new staff as necessary.
• May assume CT Lead or Imaging Coordinator duties in absence.
