Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computerized axial tomography studies, administer IV and oral/rectal contrast, and ensure high-quality imaging per department protocols. The role supports radiology operations, trains staff and students, and contributes to cross-functional coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA).
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (IEMA) and ARRT registrations.
• CNMT certification within 1 year (NMTCB) or CNMT eligibility within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures and administers IV/oral/rectal contrast per protocol.
• Reviews case with radiologist and ensures accurate exam with patient history.
• Maintains patient safety and reports adverse events or safety concerns.
• May perform duties of CT Lead or Imaging Coordinator in absence.
