Maimonides Medical Center in New York, NY, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to perform imaging procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role prioritizes patient safety, accurate imaging, and teamwork within a busy radiology department.

Candidate must hold a NYS license as a Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT certification, and IV contrast administration credentials where required.

Qualifications

• Current NYS license as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT Certification required; NYS DOH Intravenous Contrast Administration Certificate where applicable.
• New employees must produce a current IVCA certificate within 6 months from date of hire.

Responsabilités

• Performs CT procedures on all patients and ensures image quality before release.
• Ensures equipment is in proper working order and notifies appropriate personnel when repair is needed.
• Assists radiologist with patient positioning and care, including transporting patients as required.
• Maintains ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure and adheres to safety standards.
• Interacts professionally with patients and families and participates in department QA activities.
