Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT scans and related diagnostic imaging in accordance with established protocols. You will position patients, operate CT equipment, and ensure high-quality studies while maintaining safety and infection control standards.

The role requires an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved radiologic technology program graduate with NY licensure, ARRT CT certification, and CPR. Strong teamwork with radiologists and efficient data handling in IDX are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive CT experience (Will consider new graduates).
• Excellent technical skills, knowledge of cross sectional anatomy, physiology and positioning.
• New York State License (L.R.T.).
• ARRT CT certification current.
• CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Assists, prepares and positions patients for imaging procedures.
• Performs CT scans and other diagnostic exams.
• Operates CT equipment and injectors per protocol.
• Maintains sterile technique and infection control.
• Coordinates with radiologists and ensures proper labeling and PACS transmission.
• Records tracking data in IDX and schedules exams in IDX.
