Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology is required.
• Current ARRT certification in at least one advanced modality (CT or MRI) is required.
• Current NYS license as a Registered Radiologic Technologist or eligible within 6 months of hire.
• Current BCLS certificate required (ARC or AHA).
• ARRT certification is required per the Maimonides-1199 Agreement dated Oct 1, 2021.

Aufgaben

• Performs high-quality radiographs for in-patients, ER, outpatients, and portable exams.
• Ensures patient safety to minimize hazards and radiation exposure.
• Assists in training students, new hires, and ancillary staff.
• Tracks patients using RIS/EMR and Transport Tracking systems.
• Transports patients to/from modality rooms as needed.
• Assists Radiologist during fluoroscopy procedures upon request.
• Operates X-ray equipment, fluoroscopy, mobile radiography, and at least one advanced modality.
• Adheres to ALARA principles and hospital policies.
