Job summary

ChristianaCare’s Imaging Department is seeking a Full-Time CT Supervisor for the Newark Campus. You will oversee CT staff, coordinate HR processes, ensure staffing, and collaborate with radiologists to maintain CT protocols and image quality.

The role requires ARRT CT certification and at least 5 years in CT imaging, with supervisory experience preferred. Excellent customer service, leadership, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years CT imaging experience.
• ARRT (R) and CT certification required.
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
• Proven leadership abilities.
• Ability to function independently.
• Problem solving and complaint resolution.
• Interacting with physicians, patients, and families.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of CT technical and technical assistant staff.
• Perform HR activities including evaluations, interview process, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels across the Newark Campus and affiliated sites.
• Work with radiologists to create and maintain CT protocols.
• Maintain quality of clinical images to meet technical standards.
• Schedule and maintain imaging and patient care equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety.
• Obtain and maintain ACR accreditation of CT units.
• Participate in maintaining and updating CT policies and procedures.
• Prepare and ensure compliance with JCAHO, CMS, and Delaware Radiation Control standards.
• Coordinate student clinical rotations with Allied Health Program and Imaging Education Associates.
• Participate in Performance Improvement initiatives and other duties as required.
