Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a Radiology Department Supervisor to lead technical and support staff in the Radiology area. The role requires operating imaging equipment with precision, supervising technologists, and ensuring efficient patient flow and throughput.

Registry with NMTCB or ARRT with supervisory experience is required, with BLS. A Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred, and Cardiac CT experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Registry with NMTCB or ARRT and previous supervisory experience
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• 3+ years leadership experience preferred
• Cardiac CT experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the technical and support staff in Radiology.
• Operates imaging equipment with a high level of expertise.
• Troubleshoots procedures and develops new techniques for the department.
• Supervises technologists in day-to-day activities.
• Coordinate patient flow and prioritize procedures.
• Obtain medications, radiopharmaceuticals, or contrast materials as directed.
• Teach staff and communicate procedure changes.
• Maintain equipment quality control and documentation.
