Job summary

Atrium Health Mountain Island Emergency Department in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced CT Supervisor to lead the CT service line, ensuring safe, high‑quality imaging and compliant operations in a fast‑paced emergency setting.

You will oversee staff, enforce protocols, coordinate workflow, maintain equipment readiness, and collaborate with physicians to optimize throughput and patient care. Bachelor’s degree preferred; ARRT/NMTCB CT certification required; 3+ years leadership in radiology.

Qualifications

• Registry with NMTCB or ARRT in CT is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in CT leadership or supervision.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the CT section activities and ensures staffing coverage.
• Coordinates patient and task flow to optimize throughput in the ED.
• Validates exam quality and verifies protocol compliance for all staff.
• Manages supplies, equipment readiness, and QA processes.
• Maintains staff records, training, and performance coaching.
• Collaborates with physicians and manages SOPs and chargemaster compliance.
