Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks an experienced CT Technologist to perform advanced CT imaging in a fast-paced hospital setting in Tampa, Florida. You will work with radiologists and the care team to deliver high-quality diagnostic images and ensure patient safety.

Requirements include ARRT CT, state radiologic license, 1 year CT experience, BLS, and proficiency with EMR systems. This contract position offers a collaborative environment and access to state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required.
• Current Radiologic Technologist license as mandated by state regulations.
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on CT imaging experience.
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols.
• Comfortable working with a variety of patients and electronic medical record systems.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to produce clear, accurate diagnostic images.
• Follow proper imaging protocols based on physician orders and department guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Accurately document and manage patient records within the system.
• Monitor equipment for proper functioning and request maintenance when necessary.
• Adhere to all infection control and radiation safety standards.
