Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT imaging equipment, produce high-quality scans, and prepare the procedure room for patients. The role covers a range of body parts and requires accurate history forms and documentation.

Candidates should have radiology training, ARRRT certification, and BLS. Experience in CT is preferred, with an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program as a minimum qualification.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in Radiology preferred, with additional training in CT modality preferred.
• Must be a graduate of an AMA-accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification is required and CT certification is preferred.
• BLS required upon hire (AHA or Red Cross) within 30 days of hire date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Bachelors, Certificate, or Associate Degree.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic CT equipment and verify images.
• Prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Ensure high-quality CT scans provide proper diagnostic information.
• Perform CT exams on multiple body parts in a timely manner.
• Complete history forms and technologist exam sheets.
• Initiate IVs and check labs as needed.
