Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is hiring a part-time CT Technologist to operate CT scanners and other radiographic equipment at Riverside Medical Center. You will assist physicians, manage procedures, and maintain infection control and radiation safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires three years of CT experience (or CT training program completion) and active California radiologic credentials. This position is onsite with 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Three years' recent CT technologist experience.

• May substitute three years CT experience with completion of the department's CT training program.

Responsibilities

• Perform Computed Tomographic (CT) imaging.
• Assist physician during minor surgical procedures and in developing new techniques.
• Assist in obtaining tissue specimens.
• Follow infection control procedures and radiation protection practices.
• Observe and respond to patient conditions during and after procedures.
• Transport patients to/from procedure area.
• Process digital or film images and make prints as applicable.
• Document clinical activities and required image information.
