Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT and MRI to operate scanners and deliver high-quality diagnostic images per radiologist instructions. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and accurate documentation in a fast-paced imaging department.

The ideal candidate has ARRT CT and MR certification, a GED or higher, and at least six months of CT/MRI experience. BLS is required within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Six months of recent CT and MRI experience.
• ARRT CT and MR registration is required.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images per Radiologist instructions.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safe, clean working environment.
• Instruct patients and obtain consent, monitor during procedures and sedation as needed.
• Ensure patient safety with procedures, time-outs, and proper identifiers.
• Document procedures and manage patient records in the RIS.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination within Radiology.
