Baptist Health in Louisville, KY is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to perform computed tomography imaging with limited supervision. You will gather histories, prepare patient records, and assist radiology staff in procedures, while ensuring quality control and timely turnaround.

Responsibilities include administering contrast per physician guidance, maintaining equipment, stocking supplies, and coordinating with radiologists and transport teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• Active KBMIRT required at time of hire.
• ARRT or NMTCB with CT certification required.
• CT Registry is required. Registry eligible candidates are required to obtain CT certification within one year of employment.
• Current BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a professional environment through a clean and orderly department, adherence to dress code, and personal actions.
• Maintain quality control on all assigned instrumentation.
• Assist radiologist with invasive procedures.
• Manipulates computerized image data to obtain interpretive information and archiving.
• Collects patient histories and other related information, coordinating and communicating with the radiologist and all others as needed.
• Administers contrast media under the direction of a physician and in accordance with department policy.
• Responsible for all records and charting of information related to individual cases.
• Transports patients in a secondary capacity, when transporters are not available and dictated by necessity.
• Reports malfunctions and problems to the proper persons, including management personnel.
• Participates in in-service and training activities as necessary.
• Maintains replenishment of supplies as needed.
• Carries out additional duties as assigned.
